Announcing our Australia launch
AWO is expanding and opening it’s first office outside of Europe, in Australia. As the country undergoes significant regulatory change around online safety, AI, and privacy our new Australian team is there to empower organizations with comprehensive support for their research, compliance, and governance needs. We’re excited to help navigate these evolving regulatory landscapes and the ethical challenges associated with implementing emerging technologies.
To celebrate the launch of AWO in Australia, we’re offering free data privacy health checks up to the value of $AUD 10,000 to three organisations undertaking public interest work.
We’re open minded about what kind of organisation you are and the support you need. Some examples could be:
- A local council trying to implement a new technology which involves processing personal information of all individuals living in the council district.
- A charity is expanding its fundraising efforts and using new tools to market to donors.
- A start-up building a product or service in the public interest, who would like analysis of whether the business model takes a privacy by design approach and what compliance documentation it needs to have in place.
If you’d like to be considered, please email enquiries@awo.agency by 17 November 2024 with a brief description of who you are, your key privacy concerns, and your timeline. Depending on interest, we may ask for additional information or adjust timelines.
